Retaining Top Talent:
Scholarships for Engineering-Student Reservists
Thanks to generous support from AiGENT-TECH and Globrands—totaling more than $55,000—Bar-Ilan was able to offer scholarships to engineering students in the Alexander Kofkin Faculty of Engineering who served more than 150 days in the Israel Defense Forces reserves during the past year. These students, many of whom lost valuable income and work opportunities while serving, were able to return to their studies without financial hardship. Spearheaded by Dr. Shahar Alon, head of the Biomedical and Neuro-engineering Program, this initiative ensures that Israel can continue to cultivate the next generation of high-tech and defense industry leaders.

Twice selected as the subject for a series of commemorative stamps—once on its 50th, and now on its 70th birthday—Bar-Ilan has always been a symbol of the ideal merger of Jewish values and learning with worldly scholarship and science.
Advancing Inclusion:
The SA’AR Program for Students on the Autism Spectrum
Launched by the Student Support and Accessibility Department of the Dean of Students’ Office, the SA’AR Program is a pioneering initiative that empowers students on the autism spectrum to achieve their full academic and professional potential. With the generous backing of the Weisfeld Family Foundation, the program supported 70 students this year through individualized guidance from a dedicated coordinator, who liaised among students, faculty, and academic departments. The program also provided skill-building workshops and ongoing training for lecturers, strengthening both academic success and social integration for participating students.
